| Legend has it that Pugzee once belonged to a certain underworld figure famous for the scar on his face given to him in Red Hook Brooklyn. When this crime boss was run out of town by rival gangs, his pet dog Pugzee was left to hold down Red Hook. Not long after the big Boss' departure in 1933, Pugzee was "framed" and sentenced to life in Prison. In no time Pugzee was running the joint with his motto, "I'm happy, everybody's happy". |
